Goan child prodigy Franky Oliveiro to release Audio CD
Kuwait, March 25, 2010: Goa’s famed child prodigy FRANKY OLIVEIRO of Jr. Trio Kings’ fame is set to release his maiden audio CD ‘Gupit Mog’ in Kuwait at Easter.
The lyrics of this specially made album are penned by renowned singer Juju and Caetano Goes, and the music score is provided by Maestro Felipe Barretto.
The album also features well known Goan singers Lawry Travasso, Bushka, Anthony San, Clarissa, Sylvester Vaz, Juju, Larissa Lopes, Clint Furtado and Simon Dias.
Franky started his singing career at the age of 9 and his very first performance for his song ‘Goenchi Mati’ bagged him first prize at the All Goa Singing Competition organized at the village church on 26th December 2001. He won the 1st prize again in 2002 for his song ‘Bhavarth at the all Goa contest.
In 2003, he acted in Albert-Roma’s show ‘Vadoll’. Later, Mario Menezes cast him in his show ‘Sangat Ami Bhurgim Konnachim’ alongside child artiste Shruti, where they both captured hearts of tiatr lovers with heart-wrenching acts. In 2004, Lions Club of Majorda felicitated Franky with a medal and a certificate for his excellent performances on stage.
The young star has also acted in Tony Dias’ ‘Kor Mhojem Kalliz Tujea Kallza Sarkem’, Inacio de Canacona’s ‘Hi Porza’, Menino Mario’s ‘Jivitacho Sangati’, Tony Dias’ ‘Argam Tuka Dhonia’, Star of Curtorim’s ‘Xezapai’, Menino Mario’s ‘Sacrament Sambau’, Pascoal Rodrigues’ ‘Tum Tukach Fottoita’, Comedian Ambe’s ‘Hi Kudd Matiek Laitam’, etc.
On 20th August 2006, Franky performed in Kuwait at Laurent Pereira’s show, ‘Hea Gharachim Dharam Bondh’ alongwith child artistes Aliston and Royston. He has also performed in Jr. Reagan’s ‘Hea Gharachi Sun’ and Francis Cardozo’s ‘Padr Agnel’.
Franky’s presence in video films is also much commendable. His performances can be seen in Agnelo D’Costa’s VCD ‘Mainchem Kalliz’, Tony Dias’ ‘Kor Mhojem Kalliz Tujea Kallza Sarkem’ and ‘Bal Bhavan’; Comedian Ambe’s ‘Doganch Puro’ and Comedian Agostinho’s ‘Aslelim Dukhi, Naslelim Sukhi.’
Franky has also rendered his voice for Walt Simon Productions’ second audio CD ‘KUMSAR’, where he sang the title song.
The momentous release ‘GUPIT MOG’ will be held in Kuwait at Easter.
