Kuwait: After a great musical show by Kuwait Konknni Mogi (KKM) last month, Mega Musical Show ‘LOVE YOU GOA’ organized by Kala Mogui Kuwait (KMK’s) promises a ‘Rocking’ entertainment Friday – 14th October 2016 at the American School Auditorium.
The two Goan organizations – KKM & KMK have been in the limelight for some years and are apparently as popular among Goans as Air-India flights, Goa Maroons, Jose Rod, Maestro Shahu and the Kuwait Towers.
KMK’s last show ‘MANGO BONANZA’ was attended by a record crowd last September.
KMK organizers, usually revolving around the ever shining Dominic Araujo (Kalapur, Santa Cruz) and evergreen Gabriel Felix Fernandes (Merces) apart from some close well-wishers, have left no stone unturned to ensure a great evening of showbiz in Kuwait.
Konkani lovers can only acknowledge their colossal efforts by patronizing the show in large numbers.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN ‘LOVE YOU GOA'
The show will see some star-studded, award winning artistes performing first-time in Kuwait.
DIVYA DINESH NAIK – DIVYA WHO?
Divya is a professional singer of Hindustani music and a classic dancer of Bharat Natyam.
The young starlet hails from Curchorem, Goa. She has performed across different cities in India singing Hindi songs, and sings magnificently in Konkani.
Divya started learning music and dance when she was 8 years old. She has won many prizes in Hindi singing competitions over the years.
Evolving into an amazing singer, Divya entered into Konkani singing platform from 2014 onwards. Her first performance of a Konkani song was ‘Pixem’, originally sung by legendary Goan artiste Antonette.
“I love to sing Konkani songs,” says the budding girl, “and I enjoy the performances every bit.”
WHAT HAS DIVYA ACHIEVED?
• Divya was awarded Best Singer at the Kala Academy Bhajan Competition in the year 2008 and again in 2012.
• Won 3rd place at the Kingfisher Voice Of Goa (Hindi category) in the year 2014.
• Won 2nd place at Goencho Avaz (season 2) organized by Herald Group.
• 1st place Winner at Kingfisher Voice Of Goa 2015 (Konkani)
