𝗞𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁: Among
the new generation of Konkani stars, budding youngster Princewell Fernandes
hailing from Orlim, Goa, has captivated everyone’s attention and imagination.
A
Konkani singer and actor of immense calibre, Princewell received great
reception on his first visit to Kuwait in Maestro Shahu’s musical show last October.
Elder
son of famous tiatrist-couple Philip de Orlim (of Trio Kings fame) and
Socorrina Fernandes, the talented prince currently works in UK, and lives in Hounslow,
London.

2020 at the luxurious Khaldiya University auditorium.
𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙉𝘾𝙀𝙒𝙀𝙇𝙇 - 𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙇𝙔 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙎
After
his initial education at St.Pius High School, Orlim and Rosary College,
Navelim, Princewell went on to pursue Hotel Management.
“My
first step on Konkani stage was at the age of 12, I sang an opening chorus in
my dad's tiatr,” recalls Princewell.
The
young actor-singer, born with an in-built DNA of drama and art, has performed
in tiatrs on the professional stage for prominent directors such as Mario
Menezes, Menino Mario, Samuel Carvalho, etc and also acted for his dad Philip
de Orlim till 2018.
𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙁𝙀𝙎𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉𝘼𝙇 𝘾𝙄𝙍𝘾𝙐𝙄𝙏
In
his short stint, Princewell has won many awards and accolades for his acting.
In
2018~19, he acted and sung for Mario Menezes famous drama of ‘tiatristanchea
burgeamcho tiatr’ – 100% in which he received rave applause and best actor awards
for his negative role as a PT Sir.
The
young lad is also credited for acting in 4 video films by Philip de Orlim,
namely ‘Kombo Sasupai’ (Princewell was just 8 years at the time), ‘Novem Jivit’,
‘Tambdi Mati’ and ‘Ghorkan Asson Nam’.
The
wannabe star has also sung in an audio album ‘Ponvoti’, an album of 50 songs by
Philip de Orlim apart from playback singing for Menino Mario's upcoming film.
Princewell
also holds credit for singing in Preeti Coutinho's audio album ‘Ollechim
Mogrim’ apart from singing in various other audio albums.
He
has also performed at All-Goa Mando Festival with ‘Ollechim Mogrim’ in the teenagers
as well as the senior category for 4 consecutive years from 2014 till 2017.
He
was a part of Lenten concert in the year 2016 conducted by Preethi Coutinho and
in 2017 & 2018 conducted by Fr. Romeo Monteiro
The
young master has been a member of St.Michael's Choir, Orlim.
