Kuwait: With so many ‘Super Hits’ in recent times, Konkani movies are emerging to be trendsetters in filmdom.
One such movie with attractive excellence and highly talked about in the Konkan world, is the Mangalorean movie ‘Noshibacho Khell’.
They say the movie, acclaimed as one of the best ever films made in Konkani, could be a hit in any Indian language.
Mangalore, known to be a multi-linguist place with different languages spoken and Konkani being one of them, apparently tops the rating for ‘Noshibacho Khell’ in all reviews available for Konkani films.
BEST KONKANI FILM EVER?
Since its release in August 2016, the film has been presented in most Gulf countries, Europe, and even in Israel. It has run to packed audience wherever screened.
Ester Noronha and Elton Mascarenhas play the lead roles in the movie.
Prince Jacob - Goa, Ranjitha Lewis, Alwyn Andrade, Sujatha, Stany Alvares and others have played supporting roles.
Ranjitha Lewis (see photo) who plays second lead in the movie has been a sensation of the film. She is now set to star in a Kannada film and a Konkani serial too.
Lead heroine Ester Noronha is expected to be one of the stars attending the Kuwait screening.
