Michael D’Silva – one of Kuwait’s most popular singers, has been singing on
stage since 1994.
Known
for his poetical compositions, Michael first sang in Mario de Majorda’s drama
‘Sambau’.
Michael's
rhythmic singing style is perhaps unmatched on Konkani stage.
In
his last few years before settling down in Goa for good, Michael teamed up with
Mario de Majorda, and late Thespian of Konkani Stage - Cajetan de
Sanvordem.
The
trio performed in London, Qatar, Bahrain, Dubai, Goa, etc, mostly in Maestro
Shahu shows abroad, singing on various topics and giving hit-after-hits; they
were known to be professional-perfect in their art for their synchronized
voices and captivating lyrics.
Michael’s last appearance in Kuwait was in the 2019 Gulf Voice of Goa event in Kuwait organized by Kuwait supremo Carmo Santos & team where the humble singer sang a solo, and a trio with Mario de Majorda & Gasper Crasto.
