The mysterious disappearance of Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 carrying 239 people on board gripped the world since its unfortunate flight on 8th March 2014.
It's strange disappearance has baffled the modern world. Debris located in the Indian Ocean is yet to be related to the ill-fated plane.
I happened to discuss the news of this tragedy with a number of well-read people that I know, a few of my smart colleagues as well, and some members of local clubs who take pride in sauntering their opinion on world affairs.
On the missing plane, I've surfed the net and kept placing my questions just to be in sync with the news.
Some of the answers I got are mind-boggling, unimaginable for normal human thinking. Read on...
What is your theory on what happened to the Malaysian flight MH370?
I think there are quite a few countries including Malaysia and USA who know exactly what happened to the plane. Someone must know.
It’s not just a pilot that flies the plane, there are computers and all that, they track and follow where a plane is going.... Isn't it?
Why should the flight change direction and head south to the Indian Ocean of all places.
It’s the main pilot. He knew what he was doing. I guess they found he was practicing the plot at home on a simulator, he programmed it all. Perhaps he wanted to be the first pilot to fly to Antarctica and be a hero.
But experts say it would be hard for one pilot to reprogram the plane without the other pilot knowing.
Am sure the co-pilot did it, he is the one who said the last words, ‘Alright, Good Night’. He probably drugged the main pilot to sleep before taking charge.
Does that theory sound convincing to you?
No, not at all, I think it’s a terrorist attack, and Pakistan are surely involved, you will see it in a matter of days. They should be held responsible..
But that has been ruled out already by the Malaysian authorities.
Am sure Indian intelligence knew about the plot months in advance – just like all other crimes. They stay mum for fear of being accused. Why else do you think they are silent despite having state-of-the-art technology... They must have even found the black boxes by now....
That is something. Am sure nobody has come up with this grand philosophy.
I heard there were like 20 Chinese scientists on the flight that knew how to make planes disappear; they might have literally made it vanish.
Where did you hear that? I thought they were artists and calligraphers. Scientists? Huh...
Oh come-on, it’s in the news, all over facebook and the social media.
How come I never heard...
I think it’s a tactic by Boeing-777 to ‘mop up’ their old jets. There’s a gossip of a jumbo landing at Mopa airport too, have you heard?
What? Mopa doesn't even have a proper road map, leave alone a landing strip.
I admire our own Churchill volunteering to allow his son 'drive' down (given a plane) with the same amount of fuel as MH 370 flew on routes chalked out by CNN/BBC, and see where it fuels-out, instead of so many ships and planes trying to locate the crash site.

Why do you think someone made it up?
Just to place Malaysia on the world map. With so many international events scheduled for the year, it would be a boost to their fading tourism and pepperoni economy.
What idea have you got on what happened to flight MH370?
Weird it’s not turned up on satellites, when they could pick up even Bin Laden’s brinjals and bananas -- from his famous compound.
Images of debris available online to millions proves nothing, has anyone linked it to the plane yet? I haven’t looked at the news story myself...
Do you think there is some conspiracy?
The recent thing that I heard was about Malaysian Manchester United football fans offering the pilot some millions to pass over England’s Old Trafford stadium with a banner saying, ‘Wrong One, Moyes Out!’
What’s your take on what happened to flight MH370?
I think it’s definitely an alien invasion.
How else could you explain disappearance of a plane undetected in this hi-tech world? If you are so smart, tell me...What do you think happened? Hmmm???
If you ask me, I sincerely wish, and PRAY the Malaysian airline MH 370 shows itself up and the pilots say, “How was that for April Fool’s Day?”
