After marriage life was completely different for
Tase as she joined her husband in Kuwait and Suddenly found that her active
social life had come to a standstill.
Life in the oil-rich country was hectic and she
seemed to find no time for much social life. Most of the time she was busy with
her job, household chores, tuitions of her daughter, and doing grocery shopping.
Recalling the early days, Tase says, “As my daughter was growing up, I used to tell her about my youthful days in school, village, in college and church, and how I used to take part in every activity. She always listened patiently and when she grew up to be a teenager, it was my daughter who encouraged me to re-start my events in Kuwait. My husband too supported me and I just moved ahead.”
Navelim Rosary Feast celebration in Kuwait was Tase’s
first event. After that, there was no looking back. She organized countless
events - Christmas parties, Easter Balls, Chalets, Picnics, Milestone Birthday
parties, communion parties, etc. Since then, she has been a much sought after
‘Event Manager’ for friends and the community.
Tase says, “When people came to know through Facebook
about my events in Kuwait, whenever I went down to Goa my friends and neighbors
invited me to organize their family events. I have hosted many second-day (Segundia)
marriage parties, Roce ceremonies, Communion parties, etc.”

On her being in limelight, Tase adds, “With the encouragement
of my village-brother Gasper Crasto, I gradually started doing small announcements,
saying prayers, conducting games, etc. It gave me confidence that I could
compere too.”
Tase always compered in English but in January
2021, KKM Konkani musical show director Dominic Fernandes gave her the first go
to compere in Konkani and that too as co-compere with Kuwait’s renowned ‘xudh
Konkani’ compere Anjali Amonkar.
Remembering the occasion Tase says, “I was a bit
nervous to know I had to co-compere with Anjali but when I approached her first-time,
she made me feel very comfortable. There was not much time for practices, but
my first Konkani anchoring was a great success at the KKM Live Facebook show on
29th January 2021.”
While concluding, Tase disclosed that she loved
to entertain others with the little talent that God has given her, especially
in a place like Kuwait where there is not much fun and enjoyment.
A ‘livewire’ among friends, Tase will be seen in the 𝗡𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗠 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗦 organized Musical show set to PREMIERE on 17th July 2021.
