12th December, the football-loving fraternity of Goa fondly remembered and celebrated the birthday of one of Salgaocar’s most dependable defenders - - Oscar Rebello, the rugged and disciplined Stopper-Back whose commitment and courage on the field earned him deep respect across Goan football circles.
Residing at Sinquetim, Navelim, Salcette, Goa, Oscar Rebello’s home was graced on this special day by two distinguished sons of Goa -- Avertano Furtado and Mariano Dias, who personally visited him to convey their warm wishes and admiration.
